Conservation grazing is essential for keeping our landscape beautiful and full of wildlife. We rely on ponies, cattle and sheep to graze our nature rich areas and sometimes these places are remote and only accessible by footpath. Farmers and graziers need local people to help them to check their livestock. Would you like to learn basic livestock checking skills in order to help out? PONT are running a LANTRA accredited training course near Bangor on Monday 26th November 2018 (9am-4pm). Contact Hilary Kehoe on Hilary.kehoe@pontcymru.org. Booking essential, spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
