Sian the Shorthorn cross is on the Cwmdauddwr Common near Rhayader. The common is grazed by graziers from local farms who take pride in the wildlife they see on the commons, such as curlew.
This herd is out on the common over the winter period, grazing down the molinia grass and trampling the bracken, both of which can become over-dominant here.
The cattle are happily grazing out on the hill before being gathered next week. The public in the area enjoy seeing the common grazed.
