Help us to discover the Dolau Dyfi project area by taking part in our Pollinator Survey!
You can carry out the survey in your garden, on your farm or when out on your daily walk. You should choose a warm and preferably sunny day any time from April through to August.
Download the survey sheet and complete the details. Then simply choose a patch of grassland, hedgerow or grass verge with flowers select one type of flower i.e. buttercup, thistle, daisy and count how many insects visit these flowers in a timed 5-minute period. Try count insects by type e.g. bees, butterflies, beetles etc. You can download an identification help sheet here.
Please take photographs of the flowers and insects with your phone, table or camera
If you can scan or photograph your completed sheets please send them with your photographs to the Dolau Dyfi Project Officer Richard Jones
