This joint educational tour aims to reduce the incidence of deliberate grass fires by changing peoples’ attitudes, knowledge and behaviour. Together we are visiting schools across South Wales to talk about the devastating impact of fires on wildlife and livestock and how conservation grazing can reduce the impact of these fires by reducing the fuel load.
The fire service bring along their fire engine and we of course bring lambs! Now we don’t know about you, but we think this photo of firemen with lambs is definitely worth a share!
If you have any questions or are interested in joining forces with PONT to run a similar project, get in touch with us.
